Mendera - Empire Second Book in the Mendera Trilogy by Ed Cowling
Mendera – Empire First chapter was posted to this site in March 2013
Although this is a stand alone book, I would recommend you to read the Chronicles of Mardoun first. The book is available in PDF format from the link at the bottom of this page.
This is book 2 in the Mendera Trilogy.
We go back to before Mendera existed, to the last great switch, when the Multiverse culled 99.99% of all existence. From the ashes of that ultimate apocalypse, The Chalne, the great eternal, set about building an Empire to protect the ultimate secret that he’d been concealing and protecting for countless billions of years.
To do this he’d need an army of the best warriors in the multiverse, who would become legendary immortal beings known as ‘The Damned’. He’d also need to be able to be able to detect all intelligent life in a very large and expanding multiverse.
Most importantly he’d need to harness the extremely fickle multiverse itself to his cause.
